Mickey Heiser, owner of Creative Insight Tattoo, is a dedicated tattoo artist, business owner, and single mother of two. Born and raised in Dickinson, ND, she fell in love with tattooing at a young age, inspired by her older sister and local artists. Despite facing challenges as a young mother, she fought relentlessly to establish herself in the industry, overcoming difficult work environments and learning from mentors like Travis Wolf. Her journey is one of resilience—navigating the complexities of running a tattoo shop while balancing motherhood and personal growth. After overcoming personal struggles, she now focuses on uplifting others and encouraging self-love through her work. With a background in corporate jobs, international travel, and even a brief stint in college for Exercise Science, Mickey ultimately found her true passion in tattooing.
